Assistant to the Mayor for Economic Development and Marketing Town of Greenfield Full Time Seeking highly responsible and skilled professional to perform highly responsible administrative work and support functions for the Mayor in coordinating complex policy directions, public relations, communications, and economic development and marketing activities attracting new businesses, industries and investments and retaining existing business and industries in the Town of Greenfield.
Provides staff assistance for other project-driven programs in the Office of the Mayor.
Acts as Mayor's principle representative before developers, boards, committees, commissions, agencies, and businesses; frequent contact with local, state, and regional officials as well as the Town's Planning, Conservation and ZBA boards.
Must possess high degree of diplomacy, judgment, discretion and negotiating skills.
Relevant college degree and five years of progressive responsibility in a related field; municipal setting preferred.
