Position
Summary:
We're looking for a strong Electronic Controls Engineer to join a manufacturer in the Greenfield area. The right candidate has experience in designing hydraulic or electrical systems. The position supports improving existing products and developing new products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interfacing with other team members to develop high quality, cost-effective designs
Designing various types of hydraulic and electrical equipment and systems, and selecting components such as cylinders, PLCs, valves, etc.
Assisting with drawing reviews and field installations
Evaluating internal technical specifications and making design decisions; working to obtain design approval
Creating engineering documentation
Recommending and developing improvements for existing products or procedures
Providing technical support when needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Hydraulic, Electrical, Mechanical) or related Engineering degree required
5
years experience with hydraulic and electrical
Use of AutoCAD or Solidworks
Licensure as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training desirable but not required
Practical understanding of Lean business practices
Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
