Director, Foodservice and Event/Hospitality Management, SpringfieldCSO seeks a positive, solutions-focused, creative culinaryprofessional to lead our dedicated kitchen team.This hands-on,full-time Food Services Director position will oversee food production at onelarge, primary residential program, and will also help improve menus and foodservice/preparation at various other residential locations throughout westernMA.The right candidatewill have a passion for helping people and will value diversity, inclusion andcultural differences. This individual will also value training and mentorshipof employees to help them grow professionally.Duties will include(but are not limited to):
Food preparation, handling, storage, and safety Food procurement from various vendors within budget Menu development with a focus on nutritional optimization Management of a full staff including cooks, prep-workers and food servers using a collaborative, coaching approach Delegation and prioritization of tasks for efficiencies within a busyenvironment Administrative oversight of scheduling, hiring, training and budgeting All kitchen operations including cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of equipment(includes regularly scheduling vendors) This is a seniorleadership opportunity with a generous benefits package that will be offeredimmediately upon hire.
